We welcome your interest and support. Your Donation Matters & Makes a Difference to CANHAVE Children & Youths. Donations can be made through one of the following payment methods:
- Interac e-Transfer: Send an e-transfer to CANHAVE by e-transfer to donate@canhave.org
- Send an e-transfer to CANHAVE using their designated email, donate@canhave.org
- Include your name and donation purpose in the message.
- Notify CANHAVE by email to tjmcburney2012@gmail.com after sending the transfer to ensure proper processing.
- Cheque: Write a cheque payable to CANHAVE Children’s Centre and mail it to their address: 10 Chesterton Dr, Ottawa, ON K2E 5S9, Canada.
- Make your cheque payable to **CANHAVE Children’s Centre**.
- Mail it to their official address(see above). As this is on the website, I assume that the address is up-to-date.
- Include your contact information if you require a tax receipt.
- Credit Card: Donations may be made via credit card (either Visa or MasterCard or American Express) using the Canada Helps app. Please select the link below to provide the necessary information:
- Donations of securities can also be a great way of sharing accumulated resources with those having none, as well as providing you with the ability to avoid capital gains tax on the donated securities. These can be arranged through our broker by completing the form required for processing, which is available on our website and can be downloaded here:

After completing the form, please file one copy with your broker, who will arrange the transfer of shares to CANHAVE Children’s Centre Inc., and send a second copy to the Treasurer of CANHAVE at tjmcburney@bell.net or by mail to the address of CANHAVE Children’s Centre Inc. The Treasurer will ensure that a donation receipt is issued for the full value of the securities transferred
- In-Kind Donations: If you wish to donate goods or services, reach out to CANHAVE to confirm what items they currently need.
- Donate goods, services, or equipment that CANHAVE may need.
- Examples include clothing, school supplies, laptops, or professional services.
- Contact CANHAVE to confirm what items they currently accept.
- Charitable Giving & Monthly Donations: CANHAVE provides tax receipts for eligible donations. Ensure you provide your contact details when donating.
- Set up recurring donations to provide ongoing support.
- CANHAVE provides tax receipts for eligible donations.
- Specify if you want your donation directed toward a particular initiative.
- Leave a Legacy: Name CANHAVE as a Life Insurance Beneficiary.
How to Name CANHAVE as a Beneficiary:
- Contact your life insurance provider.
- Request a “Change of Beneficiary” form.
- Enter the following information:
- Legal Name: CANHAVE Children’s Centre
- Charity Registration Number: [Insert CRA number]
- Address: [Insert full mailing address]
- Choose the percentage or amount you wish to designate.
- Notify CANHAVE of your intention (optional but appreciated). Contact us for a “Legacy Gift Intention Form” or complete the online form.
