By the authority of the board of directors, the annual general meeting of CanHave Children’s Centre Inc. is called for Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 7 o’clock in the evening via Zoom conference.
The agenda for the meeting will include the report for the year ended December 31, 2019, including reception and consideration of the audited financial statements, the election of directors, and consideration of a proposed amendment to the By-Laws to explicitly permit and facilitate online meetings, as permitted under the revised legislation governing non-profit corporations registered within the Province of Ontario.
All those who have financially supported CanHave Children’s Centre Inc. during the past year are eligible to vote at the annual general meeting.
Anyone wishing to confirm their eligibility to vote based on financial support contributed during the past year is invited to contact the treasurer, Terry McBurney at [email protected]
Those planning to attend the meeting online are asked to signify their intention to do so by e-mail to the president, James T. Hurd at [email protected] — a link to the Zoom meeting will be sent by e-mail to all who so signify.
Anyone wishing assistance in advance of the meeting to become familiar with Zoom is invited to contact either the treasurer or the president at the above e-mail addresses.
